Students and teachers from 13 U.S. high schools are participating in the Athena Student Interns Program (ASIP). They are working with scientists from the Mars Exploration Rover Project (MER) to investigate the geologic history of Mars. While the rovers are on Mars, ASIP students will travel to the Jet Propulsion Lab in California to help with data analysis.
